what do you cook to make money in early games, i really need help on that XD. thank you
ReplyDeleteI almost always have a combo or two on my menu. For example, beer and edamame, wine and smoked cheese, and I always sell alcohol, royal teas are popular too. It you are trying to make money though, I prefer farming in dungeons. Fred stole a lot, some of the items sell really really well.
DeleteI got a golden box in Otts Cave. What is it for?
ReplyDeleteThe Golden Box is for unlocking the area called "???".
DeleteWhat you need to do is taking the box to the guy in the well. You might need to feed him pizza a few days, until he's had enough, keep visiting him until he feels like solving puzzle box ( the golden box ). He will solve the puzzle in a few days, and then a new area will be unlocked for you.
Cool hint - Rose cakes cost no satiety, so once you unlock this recipe, you can use this to level your party efficiently.

ReplyDeleteThe next event or area would be locked until you defeat the boss. It is okay to go do other things first - make more dishes, eat more food, and level up. In time you will be able to defeat the boss. :)
DeleteTry and make all different dishes at once. Some events happen after a dish is made. An award is given once you complete all the recipes. :)
were can i fish?
ReplyDeleteOnce you have a fishing rod, you can fish in almost all areas that have water including the early dungeons. ( not in towns though. )

DeleteIf I remember right, I was able to unlock the desert city of guid before I heard about the queen was sick.
How soon you can unlock Desert City of Guid depends on your bar rank/game progress. Also you'll have to bring the right person with you, or make the right dish, after the game gives hints about it. Therefore, just try level up your bar, and talk to everyone when you can. :)
oh no. i heard about the queen was sick from fred before desert city of guid, does that means i cannot unlock this city? cause i read somewhere in other forum said some of them cannot unlock it too. T.T
DeletexD I believe sooner or later you should be able to unlock all maps. Maybe everyone has slightly different story line. For example, I missed talking to someone, and one map was unlocked so much later than it should have been. In the end I was still able to unlock it. I think you are still safe. :)
Deletei just trigger an event, where siela saw gustav talked to a man about beating siela in the cooking contest n promised that man to buy many spices, few days later, fred come to the bar talked about spices. do u remember what will happen next? maybe i can unlock this city a few days later? hope so!!!

DeleteShe's had enough trying to lose weight at this stage. That's it. :) Rose cake is a good way to level up your characters. I always buy all the ingredients for it from the shop when I walk pass.

I'd say that's a good idea. Just keep up with the sales, and finish the master league. You are going to face stronger enemies too. Try and level up your characters more so it's easier to survive the encounter. :)

DeleteYou can go all the way up to 99. ^_^ Have you got Milija in your party yet? I liked her a lot because she can be a really good support. She showed up being really low level though. But once she levels up, she's quite good.

ReplyDeleteGilbert's Pass has a boss, Wind Slayer - weak against wind element, and strong resistance against earth element. It also has strong resistance to dar, poison, blind, silent, and paral. elements.
DeleteThe best way to fight it is to using Wind spells or weapons.
Sylph in Gilbert's pass is strong against Wind though. Just have to avoid using the spells they can resist more.
If you are still finding it difficult, it's always a good idea to level up the party members first, farming in other areas and then come back for the big fight. I started to give the main character most of the good food at one stage, so she was able to kill almost all the monsters before they had a chance to get a hit in.

After some rounds he starts using "ERROR" which deals a lot of damage to the whole party.
So after he did 2 times in a row ERROR my whole party is dead :-(((
Did I miss something, any item that absorbs or block the damage?
Would be cool to get some hints :-))
I used Milija to revive the dead. Also as soon as someone is silenced, I get them cured straight away. Milija has a mass cure as well. If she dies, I use holy water to revive her. Holy water can be fished up from one of the fishing locations.
DeleteThere are food for avoiding being KOed. Maybe that can help a bit. I might have used some items on Milija so she can't be silenced.
So yeah, since ERROR does so much damage, you might want to heal up as soon as you get a chance.

Just killed the last boss, and now the all boss battle is up. Is there anything once you complete it?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I don't think there's a reward or title for finishing the boss rush. However, if you missed out some loot from any of the bosses before, this is a good time to get them. Otherwise, there's nothing really special about it. :p
DeleteYou get the Master Ring when you defeat the boss rush...and you lose probably an hour of your time....

Deletei play on android. is it the same? my last game got spoiled after a force close. when i open it again, it run very, way very slow, eat up a lot of ram, then force close again. i think i played up to a port town? that time bar rank is 4 i think? then i leveling by repeating eating till 38... that's when bad thing happened.
Deleteso now i replay with fresh start, uninstalled ver 1.3, install ver 1.0 (reinstall ver 1.3 doesn't work, same thing happen...)
Unfortunately when I played this game, it also shut down without warning quite a few times. I had a habit to save games frequently so at least my effort was not wasted. I think it's the problem with the game not your phone. One thing would probably help is to restart your phone. If the game runs slowly, it can usually be fixed by just restarting the phone. Also, try just have this app on when you are playing. Sometimes when I receive a phone call for too long, the game would just go to the starting menu. :( Hope this helps. :)

ReplyDeleteYou can use as many rose cakes as you like. I'm so glad you got your bar rank fixed. I didn't know that Adventure Bar Story Lite has a limit on it. I started with the Lite Version but then upgraded it to the full version.

ReplyDeleteSecond I need help to unlock the next map, I think it's mount Glibert. So far I have been able to get up to the dessert city and feed Alphine the rose cake. Then there was a small cutscene, where Gustav's plan was revealed to become the royal chef and Fred reminded me that I have to become the royal chef now. My current bar level is 9 and I'm in the Platinum league. What do I do to unlock mount Gilbert?
To become a royal chef, you'll have to have the highest rank. Soon after you reach the highest rank, you'll be invited to cook in the castle. Store will progress more there. :)
DeleteMount Gilbert will be unlocked a little later. Either for you to save the village or save the queen. ( Sorry I can't remember that far. But I remember it was quite straight forward. )

I need help to defeat Lord Stepp. I'm using Siela, Alter, and Fred all at lvl 99 but I still can't beat Lord Stepp. Does Lord Stepp have any weaknesses?? Any help would be appreciated.

DeleteThat's pretty much it once you've defeated all bosses. The only thing left to do is probably just to complete your secret catalog.

DeleteDid you mean the dish #94 Maki (salmonroe) ? If it is, it's made of Salmon, Rice, Vinegar, and Nori with Bare Hands. If you are looking for Salmon as an ingredient, they drop from Demon ( Mount Trulus ), Archdemon and Demon King in ???, also you can still it from Troll in Otts Fall / Lake. Hope this helps. :)

Ok I don't know if my other comment showed up but if it didn't when should the queen get sick? And also I can't get through the sand storm so what should I do? Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteThe Queen is sick from the start of the game but she got worse later in the game. When your bar rank is high enough, it will lead you to the part where the Queen got really sick. You'll be saving her life by your cooking of course. :)
DeleteSimilar situation for getting through the sand storm. You won't be able to get through the storm until the bar rank is high enough. Once you reach the point, someone will come and tell you how. :)
So I just got the quest and I need to get the like scorpion tear or something but I can't. I have Lidia and the temple is unlocked, but no matter what the scorpion won't appear. The sandstorm is still there, and the maze inside the temple only leads to dead ends. What should I do? Thanks :)
DeleteTo stop the sandstorm, you need to bring a drink ( I think it's #431 Tequila ) with you.
DeleteTo unlock the maze, you need to touch all the switches once. But I guess if you've touched a few, it's a little difficult to remember which ones you still need to touch. What I will do is, I will see if I can put a map up for the maze. Hopefully that will help. But please forgive me if I can't post it sooner. ^_^

There are different levels of cooking contests. You have to keep winning until you cannot do the contest anymore. Your goal is to collect enough points from cooking contests and sales volume to finally become the best chef in town.

DeleteGlad it worked for you. The 2nd last place, did you mean the Whale Bay? You need to speak to someone in Port City of Lar to unlock it. If you've spoken to everyone there already but nothing happened, try go back again a little later after the game progresses a little more.
I would like to add the fishing info but it is really time consuming. I probably won't have enough time before you finish the whole game. I will keep it in mind though. Thank you!

I think I'm stuck. I've beaten Gustav, but nothing new is unlocking. The last event was the dragon nest. What could I be missing? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe next big event is probably getting invited to cook in the Castle. Some events don't happen straight away. Just keep your sales up, try and cook all dishes and combinations, talk to people you see. Sometimes the lady in the Church gives hints, most of the time she wouldn't say much though.

DeleteThere is also a map called "???" where you can do a boss rush mode if you have defeated all bosses - you get to fight them one after another all in one go.
Other games
I think all Kairosoft games are pretty fun to play. If you haven't tried any, Game Dev Story is a good one to pick.
Another game I recently played is called Castle TD. I found it quite addictive. It's a tower defense game.
I have been playing SimCity on PC. I don't think I will stop playing that one anytime soon. :)

What level should you recommend being before entering each dungeon?
ReplyDeleteTo be honest it's a little hard to say. It depends on a lot of things, the level, the gear, the party, the strategy. I found myself farming a lot in the early stage - farming for food so the party can level up. I'd say if you find one dungeon difficult, just go somewhere else and come back later when you level up.

I used Siela, Fred, and Milija. They were all level 99 when I stopped playing.
DeleteI don't think the game is all that deep to talk about much strategy really. :p But what I had to decide was to see if I want to kill monsters one by one or aoe them to low health.
Sometimes when a particular boss is difficult, I used Fred to attack, Siela to cure, and Milija to heal. It can be a little slow sometimes but at least we can keep everyone alive to keep fighting.
Siela was wearing either a bear suit or bunny suit just because I think she looks cute like that. XD
Fred was using Dragon Armor, Charm of Root, Dragonslayer.
Mirijia was using Tathlum, Eagle Robe, and Angel Wing. She can revive so it's a good idea to keep her alive.

Getting to level 30 using crispy bacon and creme pasta is pretty easy, but by the time you get there they become less and less effective. I can't unlock fire island cause I'm not strong enough to beat the boss. What recipes would you recommend that can be used before unlocking fire island? and what is the giant squid fire island boss weak to?

DeleteI found the royal drinks pretty good. Also pineapple/watermelon juice was decent. Dishes made with Garuda Egg are yummy too.
I remember using a lot of Porchetta, Napolitan, and Mushroom Pork just because I had a lot of ingredients.
I use whatever dishes that are easy to make and then combine with cabbage juice to try and level up faster.

Usually when you get a hint like that, new hint recipes will show up with a few ingredients missing. I am guessing this is #285 Cactus Steak ( Cactus, Soy Sauce, Butter, Tool:Frying Pan ).

ReplyDeleteIf you haven't seen the hint for unlocking the desert temple, you won't be able to get in anyways. Sooner or later someone will come to you and suggest the idea. Then you will be able to unlock it.

Oh, dear, I can't remember where you can find Tear of Earth. But I do know where the catfish is. The catfish is in Otts Fall/Lake. Just before the exit of the map, you should be able to go to the right side of the map. There is not much there but a lot of water. Most of us just walk in, see nothing, and walk out. But when you need to find the Catfish, you need to go further out to the right till you reach the end. It will then show up. :)
DeleteSorry I can't really remember where the tear of earth is. If you have any hints from anyone, maybe I can try and remember.

Just in case anyone got stuck and was searching (like I was!), you get tear of earth from the ruins in the dessert after talking to Lidia. Open the shop and a cutscene will appear where you talk to Lidia. :D

ReplyDeleteI'm kind of stuck on the second level of the cooking contest. It's saying after i am in the first place "For next level sales of is necessary." There is obviously one word missing. Can you tell me what it is? Would be great, because it's really annoying...
Your bar needs to reach a certain sales amount. I don't know what the amount would be though. It just means that you need to try to sale as much as you can. :)

- Throw in some combos in the menu
- Fill up the menu list
- Rotate your dishes regularly
- Cold seasons -> hot food/drink, hot seasons -> cold food/drinks
I very Thank to your website not because they have evidences such a pictures etc. but they have a good explanation of happening of this game. We are the same......We are adventure LOver....This game that i play is adventure bar story i cannot understand the game description or they not given clue or goal of the user but instead you need to research it so that you can know happening to your game.This is my question how i can high my bar level...what recipe that i will use to my bar but i not fully open my stages but i have a 4 stages unlock it is casselburg, brusso Meadow, forest of nus,ostenlein... I dont know what recipe to use to easy rank my bar...What exact Month to high the rank of my bar.where i can find Moguani live in our backyard the needed to collect rental but to sell pizza...Can you give me a picture or some evidences that i really know the exact places of this game and the exact places of this game and the exact of a secret path it is say do not use fire magic around here and then i find the secret catalog but is still i dont what to do can you help me to high the rank of my i still the lowest rank of my bar give me exact recipe to rank the bar.Hoping you will me to my problem before this day end because class will coming.Sorry for the grammar because im dabawenyo im years old

Everyone plays the game differently. I don't think I am able to give you the exact recipes that would rank up your bar unfortunately. One of the reasons is that if you serve the same dish for a long time, customers will not like it. However I can give you some general rules to rank up your bar:
1. List Combo Dishes ( You can find the Combo List here : http://happyenna.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/adventure-bar-story-combo.html )
2. Be the top one of the cooking contests. ( It boosts up the number of customers )
3. Change your menu often.
4. Hot season -> serve cold food/drinks; Cold season -> serve hot food/drinks.
5. Always fill up your menu

Follow the yellow line - you don't need to break anything to go through to the well.

Where i can know that it's hot season and cold season??? Then i always using combo and then i change it because they bored. their a picture that show like this :( its like a yellow faces then the dishes i change it another combo but still no changes it's still my bar is low level can you help me... unfortunately what month my bar level will rank up???
ReplyDeleteI am guessing around Month 7 it's summer time. Around Month 12 it's winter time.
DeleteMaybe you just need to level up your characters and go to other maps so you can find better ingredients for better dishes. After that you'll be able to make different dishes and rank up the bar.
Your bar's rank is not related to the months at all. You can stay the same rank forever.
i think enna if my character will high the level until 99 there possibility my bar level will high

ReplyDeleteEvery month, you can attend the cooking contests on the 10th, 20th, and the 30th. On those days, you can actually see a little message showing on the bottom of the screen for a second to remind you. You can attend the cooking contest any time on those days.

On the bottom of the list, click on "Exp", you should see the recipe sorted by how much exp it gives:
1. Prepare the top few dishes for the contest
2. Before you send your dishes in, save the game
3. Reload the game if you are not happy with the result

Hello Enna, i am totally stuck on the desert part. Last thing that happened (that i can remember) is that fred said something about how Gustav was looking to find a bad rumour about Siela's bar. and also this guy came into the bar and asking if Siela's sister would cook for him.

Yeah, that Gustav guy is up to no good.
DeleteWhat you need to do is to rank up your bar a bit more so the story will progress. Gustav is going to get someone to buy out all the spices, and then if your bar rank is high enough, Lidia will come and show you the way to the city.
There are a few main things you can do in the desert:
1. Find the material requested by Elias
2. Defeat the boss so you can get more spices
3. Get into the ruin to find some item ( I can't remember what though, sorry. xD )
Okay i have talked to Alfine and a blond boy named elias (Or something like that) appeared and then ran into the classrooms for the wizards.

ReplyDeleteTo be able to go fishing you need a few things:
Delete1. Fishing rod
2. Bait either from monsters or Fred's shop
3. Fishing spot
Then you just need to click "OK" in front of the fishing spot to do fishing. :)

ReplyDeleteYou'll need to unlock Desert City of Guid before you can pass the sandstorm. As the story progresses, you'll need to find more spices, and Lidia will show up and say she will take you there.
DeleteAfter that, you'll speak to a vendor in the desert city of Guid. She will tell you the monster in the desert is the reason spice stock is low. You'll then bring Tequila ( Cactus + Barrel + Fermenter ) to the desert and you should be able to go through and fight the boss.
As for the south west dungeon, it's called "???". You'll need to bring the pizza guy in the well a golden box. He will try and solve the puzzle for you and then the area "???" will be unlocked. You do need to feed the guy a few times before he will solve puzzles for you though. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm having problem with defeating the Dark Lord in the ??? area. I have Fred, Siela and Alter in my party all of them are level 99 but I can't defeat it. I think I don't have the equipment right. What would you suggest me equip them with and which boost (from food) should I get before fighting it.
aww, I never really partied with Alter. I think Alter is a tank but not sure what skills he uses really.

I strongly recommend Milija to be in your party though. She has some really useful spells. It's worth it leveling her up. Saying that, I'm pretty sure it'll still work out with Alter in the party.
I let Fred wear Dragonslayer, Dragon Armor and Charm of Root. If you are planning to use Milija, then she'll be the one wearing Angel Wing since she can revive other members.

There are a few things I can think of,
ReplyDelete1. Try and increase your bar's sale by selling combo dishes ( make sure you don't use the same dishes too many days in a row ), filling up your bar menu, always sell some alchohol.
2. Make sure you come out of the dungeon maps from the exit.
3. Try to talk to as many people as you can.

Talking to many people doesn't raise the bar rank but it helps the story progress.
DeleteTo know the meaning of those stars, you can go to Menu > Option > Help > Bar in game. It explains quite well there. Gold stars are better than Silver stars, Bronze stars are bad.

Is lite version has affected the bar rank ??? Because I play it in lite version ..and what the difference between ABS lite and ABS ??
DeleteYes, the Lite version is limited and the story does not progress after a certain point. You will need to purchase/upgrade the Lite version before you can continue. I bought ABS Lite to start with and then upgraded the game later on. It works just as well as the full version after the upgrade.

DeleteAfter a few days, the farmer will deliver the goods to the bar. It is just a step away from the wall clock in the bar. Once you collect the goods in the bag, you'll be able to give new seeds to the farmer.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I don't remember when exactly. I know it's not at the beginning of the game. The first place to see dragons is probably Gilbert's Path. The area is called dragon nest, which is unlocked when the story progresses. Before it's unlocked, you won't be able to see the special area.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sue when Whale Bay gets unlocked. I kind of got stuck there for a while until I decided to go talk to everyone again. It turned out that you need to speak to someone in Port City of Lar to unlock it.
DeleteThe puzzle box ( golden box ) is in Otts Cave, the place where it's usually blocked. :) And I think you are right about having to defeat Shadow. It's hiding in the blocked cave.

ReplyDeleteThere is another hidden path in ???. If I remember right, they are near the portal exit. Bring some Misto Soup with you, save the game before you eat it if you feel like saving the soup. Reload the game later once you find the weapons. :D
