Power Leveling

Power Leveling
Ray Coffer worked as a Ninja waiter for a long time. He took his time leveling.

One day, he was called in to be a temp 5-Star Chef. After a few months, he decided to get back to being a Ninja.

Right after the the job change, the Assistant spammed the screen with lots of messages. I was like "Woah!" The Screen looked like the picture on the right. All the sudden everyone changed from Kitchen to Floor leveled up at the same time. What happened?

It turned out that after your staff become a level 5, 5 Star Chef, they still keep accumulating the Exp, secretly. When you do a job change, the Exp will be used on the new jobs.

Chefs gain Exp much faster than those working in the Floor Area. Therefore it is a good idea to swap people around every now and then. Chefs can also gain Exp from Dish Development. How much Exp they can get from Dish Development depends on the rank of the Dish :

1 Star Dish => 100 Exp
2 Star Dish => 200 Exp
3 Star Dish => 300 Exp
and so on
9 Star Dish => 900 sweet Exp.  :)

A small Tip here -- Switch the staff before you Change their Jobs, otherwise the Assistant will not let you go easily.

I switched Ray Coffer from the Kitchen to Floor before he finished developing the Gold Ice Cream. It was so funny to see him jumping up and down with the new dish.   ^_^

A Monkey Chef ?

    1. To make it short - It's a good idea to swap people between Kitchen jobs and Floor jobs. :)

  4. Hi Enna! Nice reading your post!
    I have got a lvl 5 5-star chef of Ray Coffer, he did immediately level up when switching from kitchen to floor, however, those chef around him in the kitchen didnt enjoy the power leveling, they are just normal though they have spent a few mths in kitchen with Coffer, why is it so?

    1. I am guessing those other chefs are not yet 5 star. They used up the exp to level up their chef ranks so when you switch them to the floor jobs, there is no extra spare exp to be used for power leveling. However, they do gain exp faster in the kitchen.

      I often swap jobs to make sure everyone is taking turns getting good exp. :)

  6. hi Enna i just started this game this month and it is really enjoying to the point of ignoring the people around me at home..
    i followed your step about how to focus on how to improve the dish and how i can create new dishes,
    i even printed them out just so i can look at it while im playing.
    then i just noticed the chef's research points are not improving. that's why i cant create dishes over a total of 12 stars..

    then i was reading this. so do you think this will also improve their research points by switching jobs?
    i got to read more of your other posts but this is the suitable page for my concern.
    i just need the stars to level up so i can cook more.. hope u can help me.

    thanks,
    Cleo

    1. Hello,

      I know what you mean about the ignoring the people around you at home. This game helped distracting me from thinking about sad things too. :)

      Once a chef reaches Rookie Chef level 5, they can change job to become a Chinese Chef. Each type of chefs has different boosts on stats. I just tried changing one of my 5-star chef's job to Rookie Chef, the research point dropped a lot.

      Switching between kitchen jobs and floor jobs won't solve your particular issue. Try to change to a higher rank chef job and see if this helps. :)

    2. Hi Enna,

      i tried doing what u suggested and it worked.. i was like " ok, let's see if this will work" and BOOM!
      after i exited the INFO for STAFF, i got flooded with notifications that they all leveled up..
      it was like, WHOAH.. i have like 20 staffs working on 3 stores that time. so when i change their job at the same time,
      the notification lasted for 5 minutes and most of them already maximized the job they got changed into, so ready for another job.

      hahaha.. that's cool.. anyway, i'm now at my 20th year.. still playing and still trying to complete the dish i got from your site.
      though it's kind of sad because i still have 3 stores.. i noticed the assistant is not giving me any other plans to add another store.
      what i did is i move the other 2 stores to 2 other locations just so i can have the treasure chest available in that area.

      i'm thinking it'll be much cooler if the game will allow me to have all 5 stores on 5 locations.. i guess we can't have it all.
      still a great game though.. can't convince myself to play Sushi Spinnery..
      i still think the Cafe Nippon is better but i'll check on it later.

      Thanks for your update..

    3. Hello, Cleo,

      Woah, 5 mins of info spamming. I'm so glad it worked for you. :D

      You are right that the game only allows 3 stores. I was quite happy with just the 3 stores. Otherwise there will be too many staff to look after. :)

      I tried Sushi Spinnery Lite but didn't really get into it. I'll save it for later. :p

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

      Enna ^_^
